In this month’s filmmaker spotlight, the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival chats with Gerry Kim, producer of Iris K. Shim’s THE HOUSE OF SUH, which screened in Documentary Competition at the Film Festival last Spring. A mesmerizing portrait of a midwestern Korean American family whose American Dream morphed into a nightmare, THE HOUSE OF SUH walked off with the Film Festival’s Grand Jury Award for Best Documentary Feature.
