LOGLINE: When stunning Indian American dancer, Gauri, is left incapacitated after being brutally attacked by a serial predator, her loving boyfriend Will and hot-headed ex-boyfriend Kartik suddenly find themselves primes suspects: putting aside personal differences, the two recruit Gauri’s rebellious younger sister Veena to help find the killer and avenge the woman they love.

SHILPA SUNTHANKAR (Writer/Director/Producer)
Shilpa Sunthankar attended New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, studied at FAMU in Prague, interned with the BBC in London, and graduated BFA with honors in 1999. She currently lives in Portland, OR with her husband, artist Ben Adams, enamored by the area’s creative and prolific approach to filmmaking.
Shilpa has freelanced for award-winning Portland companies like Bent Image Lab, and Wieden + Kennedy, and now produces animation at Fashionbuddha Studio while writing and directing her own projects. Her 2004 short film BIOGRAPHY OF AN AMERICAN HOSTESS toured U.S. and Canadian festivals, was awarded the Rumblefish Post Production Award by the Northwest Film & Video Festival, and was licensed by the Canadian Broadcast Corporation. Her new short film THE COMPANY OF THIEVES is now touring 2012 festivals. SEETA’S DEMON will be Shilpa’s first feature; she is working to complete development and launch production.
