The Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival is the premier pan-Asian Pacific film festival in Los Angeles and the premier event to showcase the visions and voices of our communities during Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. The Film Festival was established in 1983 to celebrate the best and the brightest of Asian Pacific American and Asian International cinema and to generate awareness for these productions. Since then, the festival has become a launching ground for Asian Pacific American cinema and is one of the fastest-growing film festivals in Los Angeles.
The Film Festival’s 28th edition is slated for May 10 through May 20, 2012, and is THE ideal marketing platform to reach the Asian Pacific demographic and the independent filmmaking community while at the same time building strong relationships in the Asian Pacific American community.
