This special festival is also known as the birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism. In India, this day has been declared a national Holiday for years.

Guru Parab is celebrated in the remember of the First sikh guru Guru Nanak dev Ji. According to historical books Guru Nanak ji Born in 1469. It is believed that during his early days, Guru Nanak traveled to different places a spread a message that God in One, Ek Onkar. According to Sikhism guru sahib said that Vand Chako, Kirat Karo and Naam Jamo means helping the needy with Food and clothes, Kirat Karo means living with honesty and Naam Jamo means Keeping chanting God names.
This year we all will celebrate the 555th Birth anniversary of Baba Nanak, Apart from History and Significance, People do share a Lot of Religious lines, and thoughts to their best friends on this special day. What i like about this day is that Shiva, Devotion on this day.
