Trailer of the film shows that movie is based on a life of business man named G R Gopinath who started his own airline in the late 2003 after retirement from Indian army, Gopinath vision always to create Low cost airlines, In the initial days company started with Two ATR 42 aircraft and soon become Third cheapest air travel company in india by 2006.

After the first promo release, company announced that the movie will be released on 12th July all across India, Sarfira is remake of Tamil movie Soorarai Pottru released in 2020.
